The Village

Cambil, a fantastic olive growing village, with its own olive production of the local. naturally produced crop and castle views. Plenty of shops including two small supermarkets, school, post office several restaurants, two banks, petrol station, small hotel, ambulance station, doctor`s surgery, pharmacist and library.

The villagers in this stunning village have been incredibly friendly, invitations to christenings, family parties with very helpful staff at the local council offices. Central square with main restaurant and large outdoor public pool. A wonderful mix of modern services with traditional village life, old guys still walk their donkeys to the weekly village market.

The Area

Fantastic scenery, with the Sierra Magina National Park (rising to 7,000 ft) on the doorstep. Lots of forest areas and superb walking from the front door. Several other National parks are close by. Only 1� hours to Sierra Nevada.

Only 10 miles to the main motorway to Jaen, (town with full services, University, schools,hospital, castle, forests and mountains - less than 20 miles away) and Madrid.

Only 1 hour to the airport of Granada � Ryan Air regular flights. Direct route to the coast or Malaga from Granada.
